8th International Youth Legal Forum St Petersburg,
15 - 16. May 2017
We are happy to invite you to the 8th International Youth Legal Forum organised by St. Petersburg University and the Association of Lawyers of Russia, the St Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast Interregional Department.
The 8th International Youth Legal Forum will be held in St Petersburg on 15-16 May 2107. It is a satellite of the St Petersburg International Legal Forum.
The International Youth Legal Forum, hereinafter referred to as the Forum, is a major venue for the dialogue of young lawyers with Russian and international representatives of public authorities, the scientific community and businesses.
The Forum is aimed at the creation of integrated space for exchange of information between lawyers and students from different regions and countries. The most topical issues from various fields of law are chosen for discussion. A number of workshops and master classes with representatives of governmental authorities, law firms and legal departments of major companies are organised within the framework of the Forum.
Bachelor, master and doctoral students of law with outstanding academic and scientific performance as well as young professionals are invited to take part in the Forum.
To become a participant, you are required to register at www.muf.spbu.ru through 21 April 2017 and send a motivation letter specifying your purpose of participation in this event, your prospective contribution and your achievements. Such a letter is obligatory for each participant and is considered by the organisers during the selection procedure. Please take into account that the number of participants is limited.
A case study competition will be held within the framework of the Forum. The winners will have an opportunity to take part in a meeting either with one of the leading Russian lawyers or with a statesperson. Case studies may be submitted until 28 February 2017.
AH the transportation expenses are paid by the participants themselves. Accommodation at SPbU halls of residence can be provided to non-residents of St Petersburg. A cultural programme will be available to anyone.
